Scanline Media. Plural. Awoo.

Hi, we're Jennifer! And Aster! Feel free to refer to us with either name, or both.

We're the co-editor/co-host of Scanline Media and its various podcasts, but we also host Novel Not New: A True End Podcast at readinggames.online! Feel free to ask us anything, as long as you're polite about it.

This Saturday, Novel Not New will have Kyrie A. Page on as a guest to discuss Yo-Jin-Bo: The Bodyguards, regarded by many as first otome visual novel that received an official English localization! We'd love to read your questions about the game, and otome VNs as a whole: please send them to emails@scanlinemedia.com!

Like Umurangi Generation? Wandering around an environment, taking photos both for yourself and as a freelance gig? Interior Worlds might not have the same razor-sharp commentary, but it does have a similar structure. Only, it's focused on modern, abandoned spaces at night, you're working with an older, film-based camera, and sometimes things happen as you're snapping grainy shots of the world around you. We're not that far in, but as someone who enjoys exploring 3D spaces without feeling pressured by combat or keeping ourselves alive, it's been an equally chill and unsettling experience.
