🌶️ ah yeaa. being a demon. it's.... it's a damn good time so far, at least how i've felt it??
idk. i'm not sure how to describe it. but from my perspective at least, being a demonic creature is about fully embracing your emotions and desires. it's about finding a path to be yourself, even in that twisted night where others may not trek. it's an acceptance and understanding of your own desires, and knowing where you want to take them. there's a reason a lot of references to demons in current and (particularly christian) historical culture paint us as creatures to be avoided; what else is this freedom but the anathema for a hierarchical society? or something, we're way too tired to do actual political readings now, but you get the image.
and getting to explore what it means to be myself through this lens. what a time. even if it has been a funny and uneven ride (i first started questioning my demonicness as early as around the 2020/21 year change, but the exploration slowed down from around spring 2021 to... well. back again late 2022, before full acceptance in march this year that went on for a few days before our plural realizations took priority for a while), but i'm liking where i'm going.
