I know not many read things here from me, but if you aren't aware, I've been out of work since May and due to the past three years being pretty awful and some combo of me being out of work, sick, or otherwise. I need help making rent for these upcoming months since it's pretty clear that the interviews I do have are going to be for the 'long haul' or take several weeks to complete. Edit, update: I am on many social media places, and have set out a call on there. I was able to receive help for rent, and I want to thank each of you that shared or helped in this dark time for me. Thank you all so much and for giving me hope that I can recover from this bad situation I find myself in. We as a household cannot meet rent this month. Any gifts, help, etc. will be given to my roommates to help with rent. Please assist if possible, share if able. At this point, I'm trying a lot of things to get money on the table, but none of them are working out. We need somewhere around $300 to meet rent, so anything helps. I'm working on employment for myself, but things are slow and most of my applications don't seem to actually go to people who read them after investigating (Approx. 30% of jobs I've applied to were 'false or ghost' jobs meant to show strength for the company but not actually meant to hire anyone).
I've expanded my pool of jobs a lot more and it still hasn't helped. I'm applying for all sorts of nonsense, but... well, who knows how that'll work out given what I've seen.
Your gifts and aid may be what separates me from being able to recover from this spate of bad luck and not, and while I don't have any way to repay or thank you right now, do know that I will be paying it forward if possible.
