There's something really delightful about watching tiny animals being aggressive

They get super aggressive and sometimes they will just straight-up beak-stab each other to death.

This is making me imagine them speaking with old-timey French accents

waking up at 5 am and suddenly the roaring sound of traffic on the distant freeway seems so obvious and loud.

i wonder what it'd sound like, if there were no freeway rumbling the air for miles all around, and when you woke up in the night, there'd just be silence, and the quiet things who fill the starry world.
