This book is everything to me. Working on it has felt like a dream come true where I could barely believe I was bringing something like this into existence! As far as I know, it's the first explicitly Indonesian graphic novel out there in American trad pub. And I tried not to let that kind of pressure get to me haha! All I can do is share the Indonesian family, love, friendships and queerness I've wanted to see in the world.
