i need someone to make a super dark & edgy 'girl with the dragon tattoo'-style mystery series with a fucked up femcel protagonist and the first time she does any hacking there's a close up as she whips out this bad boy
Mr Robot got a lot of shit (that I don't think it deserved most of, but the ending does suck ass) but one thing they did very well was how, at least the first few seasons, depicted hacking and social engineering. They straight up had security hackers and hacking tool engineers consult on the show to make shit work approximately like how computers work irl. they used a fucking rubber ducky to man-in-the-middle classified documents at one point. it ruled tbh.
yeah mr robot was definitely the other model i was thinking of for what i want out of a show. honestly just combine those two influences, scale the conflict down a bit, and we'd have one for the ages
