I literally told a friend as we watched this episode that I had been in protests in Seattle in 2020 that looked exactly the same, they did their research.

It gave me big "Northern Ireland Troubles" vibes. I think it's so well done that it resonates with everyone's own experience of police violence/civil unrest.

The only thing I regret about that episode is that the original script apparently used a different word starting with F in "Fight the Empire".
