what sort of computers did furries use in the late 1990s. like post-amiga late 90s. were furries mac users or did they go for windows? or some other third thing?

i just can't picture people using linux willingly as their daily driver OS in the late 90s. i didn't hear about anyone using linux on desktop until like 2005-2006
