a few years back when i learned that WWE used a nickelback song for the theme to monday night raw once upon a time, all i could think was "yeah that tracks"
when i stopped watching wrestling the first time around, it was 2007 and raw was using some papa roach song. i was already kinda checked out of wrestling at the time so i just remember going "man this shit is lame" but i kinda like it for its mid-2000s shlocky-ness now. especially when the full version has the lyric "I GOT A JET BLACK HEART IT'S ALL FUCKED UP AND IT'S FALLING APART" like yeah that's mid-2000s alt metal boiled down to it's essentials there good job
