have a day off from my part-time job today, which i thought was going to be nice, but then blizzard did its axing and hit one of my friends so welp.
the sheer terrifying mass of people who have lost their jobs in THIS year, much less the last is so staggering. i'm scared all the time. so is everyone i know, even in other fields. it's so bad we don't know what we're going to do about the next few months, much less a year, much less more.
didn't want to give up on my career, but at what point is it just foolish not to do so? at what point are you just embarrassing yourself?
