Of what? Lmao this fucker from Brazil commented on an assassination attempt of a famous person, they probly did it
Edit for clarification: I'm the Brazilian fucker I'm talking about
i saw this post before The News, thought it was a generic "don't incriminate yourself or anyone else on the internet"
Yeah reading the comment below this interpretation was explained that I hadn't thought about
for most crimes, the reason is twofold: cohost becomes a place where an illegal act was discussed (law enforcers tend to notice that quick) and you make crimedoing public, endangering anyone vaguelly (willingly or unwillingly) involved in the theoretical or actual crime, as well as jeopardizing the plan if you were actually going to do it (mentioning for the sake of completeness).
for discussing crimes someone did in public that are on the news, "don't post about crimes" doesn't tend to apply as a rule, except for things like encouraging doing it again, or saying "I'm gonna be the one to do it right", etc. Basically if you loop back to the "posting about doing crimes" part, pull back.
This only explains my own interpretation of the original post, though (which I do agree with), and I could be wrong in my interpretation.
Oh yeah I agree with the first reason, I thought OP meant "don't comment the news"
oh no sorry i just was trying to say don't post funny jokes about doing assassinations
especially in the current context of political assassination attempts, even joking about it can be prosecuted as a felony
A reminder that "it is just a joke" does not actually protest you for saying suspicious shit
