i like that trope they do in stories sometimes where a hero gets arrested, can easily break/escape the cuffs, and willingly goes to jail anyway cuz they are good and lawful and stuff
Examples: Superman in Man of Steel, Luke Hobbs in Fate of the Furious, Aang in that one ATLA episode about Kyoshi
