My good friend @Eris-OEA is going to Las Vegas this week for the Screen 2 Speed sim racing esports event! I knew for a fact she had what it took to qualify for the event, so a few months ago I gave her the money she needed to purchase the DLC for it. Lo and behold, she absolutely nailed it and made it into the Top 15 on the leaderboards.

No matter how she finishes in the race, I'm immensely proud of her hard work as a sim racer. She pushed me to be a better sim racer than I've ever been even with physical exhaustion plaguing me every day. I can't imagine having a better friend in the sim racing scene.

The S2S Event will be broadcasted on March 4th @ InitEsports' twitch channel, and I hope we can all be there to support her! The winner of the event gets a testing session in a real race car, with the implied potential of becoming an actual racing driver. The field is stacked, but I've seen Eris overcome a shitload of adversity against terrible odds... she has a real shot at it!
