I wonder if there's a way to use the PS5's streaming and just grab that stream and overlay it with your own stuff and restream it- eh that'd probably introduce too much lag, huh
def would introduce some lag but i'm also pretty sure it can only stream to Approved Sources so i can't just throw it a local rtmp endpoint
i don't want to capture 4k but i do need to passthrough 4k since it's going to a 4k tv and i don't wanna drop to 1080p for playing
Would a 4K HDMI output splitter and a 1080p capture card on the second connection work? Or do you think the PS5 will drop to 1080p as the lowest common denominator?
PS Remote Play to PC and capture that, but look at the screen directly connected to the PS5?
ok this mostly works but if i try to connect the ps5 controller to the console again it disconnects. the wheel counts as a Different Thing tho so it can still be connected without trouble
yeah I'm pretty sure I've heard other streamers say this was their setup, and the streams looked fine to me. Hope it helps!
stream from ps5 to a dummy channel, then restream it with vtuber overlay on main channel. B)
