iracing update:
i decided to try oval racing on a whim and oops this kicks ass. i am having so much fucking fun in street stocks rn. i suppose this is to be expected given that i am Born And Raised In The South, so oval racing is my cultural heritage or w/e, but MAN. this shit's fun.
i'm currently grinding out Safety Rating b/c i would like to do late model next season, and it's been amusing to qualify Fine, start from the pits, and finish top 10 through attrition. when i was actually starting with the pack i kept getting taken out on the back straight, which is Not Ideal for safety rating, but now i'm generally getting 0 incident points per race and still finishing well. if i can keep this up i should get my class D promotion in 3-4 more races.
