in reply to @jkap's post:

i've read all three! "Hello Melancholic" does the thing that always bugs me a little bit where it ends like immediately after they get together BUT i enjoyed it.

also liking "yuri is my job," and genuinely in awe at how good asumi-chan is

Have you already read Asumi-chan is Interested in Lesbian Brothels?

My taste tends to run a little more to the "tragic 70s shojo" than most people but if you're into that then Dear Brother is great. The concept is, like. What if the only force that could stop the all-powerful high femme student council is the school's population of wandering soft butches, and also the normal girl main character falls in love with one of said butches

“Ebisu-san and Hotei-san“ is still one of my favorites, and very short and compact compared to most series. The followup story in the volume extras is extra-adorable.

“Pink Ribbon” is absurdly adorable from start to finish. The creator is Taiwanese, I think? But it’s 100% yuri by weight.

“The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn't a Guy At All“ is a bit stereotypical, but is excruciatingly well-drawn.

I can concur that “Do You Want To Go Out Or What” aka “How Do We Relationship” is very, very good but will make you want to strangle everybody involved. The fan translations on Dynasty and Mangadex have stopped because there’s a licensed release. “Qualia the Purple” is good but IMO it’s more about metaphysics than about relationships? YMMV. And “Run Away With Me Girl” is excellent but also a heartbreaker.

i've read a little bit of "the guy she was interested in" and completely agree on the art, it's also deeply funny having the premise revolve around a high school girl with the music taste of an elder millennial (not that there's anything wrong with that).

i'll check the other two out!

i know you’ve already read mage and demon queen but (turns to everyone else) i’m hijacking my partners post briefly to plant the “read mage and demon queen” flag down. fuckin read mage and demon queen

a lot of my faves were already mentioned (especially +1 for qualia the purple) but if you haven't read octave you gotta. slow-moving trainwreck of two hurting people who aren't quite right for each other figuring out if they can get past that. very Adult in a psychological sense, also in a sexy sense

a love letter for the marching puppy has an implicitly pretty dark take on class s senpai/kouhai dynamics in its alt history military setting, with a great pair at the center of it. fantastic melodrama

the moon on a rainy night has a great flawed protagonist and the way it twins the classic symbolism of hands in f/f romance media with sign language is extremely smart and effective/affective

A few that I haven't seen recommended:

Catch these Hands! (aka Accept my Fist of Love) is about a butch delinquent (who I read as having relatable-to-me brainstuff around romance and relationships) and the girl who she fought in high school who asks her out in like, the first few chapters? Most of the series is about them navigating a relationship and expectations.

The other one I'll mention is 2DK, G.Pen, Alarm Clock, about an aspiring manga artist and an office worker and oh my god they're roommates, the translation just recently finished. It's by the same author as Hello Melancholic.
