initial caveat that i have only tried hand tracking with a quest 1 (i do not have a quest 2 or quest pro in my house) and there's a chance it's now there but given the core design i'm unsure

i'm assuming it's not normal for hand tracking gestures to be physically uncomfortable and occasionally painful to perform but for me they totally are. the pinch gesture to select things in the oculus UI is very difficult, uncomfortable, and trying to select things only a couple times was enough for me to turn the feature off forever and continue using controllers, as loosely gripping an object and pointing with it feels totally fine.

does anyone else have this issue? i know it's probably related to my general hand function issues but it feels like there's no way i'm the only one

For me the Quest 2 hand tracking gestures are pretty awful because like, it does a great job of tracking my hands and fingers, but then it's constantly detecting my hands as doing gestures that they aren't. I ended up disabling hand tracking altogether.
