this was me to the advisor/admin person at art college every semester. pre-requisites and minimum hours and degree completion expectations were just ridiculous to figure out, and she would cut through that whole thing instantly every time.
mind you, i did try to figure it out myself every time, but inevitably I would just end up knocking on her door.
Honestly, "I have no idea what I'm supposed to do, would you be able to help me?" has had some really good results for me in my life.
