great article! somehow never put 2 and 2 together about the fact that the import market for yugos evaporated because of UN sanctions over the bosnian war, incredible example of sanctions doing more harm than good
yeah the UN later would bomb the damn auto plant, apparently on accident, while they were trying to hit the Zastava munitions factory lol. they definitely didn't engage... super great
