I had a couple "went viral" posts on Cohost last week and here is the single smallest change you could make that would make the biggest impact:
What really frustrated me is that for some notification types, notably the "new comment" and "reshare with comment" types, there is nothing you can right click on and say "open in new window". They're all javascript onclick handlers and you can only click to open them. But if you're like 2 levels deep in "load more" in notifications, this means you lose your place catastrophically when the new page loads.
There's a row of icons (boost heart etc) on the left hand side of the notifications tab. If every single one of those was a link, that would give a convenient and mostly-discoverable thing to consistently right-click-new-window on.
