last week was a 4-day week, one of us was out sick for a couple days, and we were working on big features, so this week’s patch notes are lighter than usual.
- added access to your saved drafts
- more performance improvements
- fixed the issue where certain posts would not display a “read more” link to read more if they were too long (thanks to the helpful user who noticed that our last set of patch notes was one such post)
coming up on cohost
- we’re continuing to work on the notification view.
- this is a big change, so we’re planning to release it in phases; jae’s also been working on the infrastructure required to let us turn features on and off for different users in the field without making code changes.
- we’re also putting the finishing touches on a rewrite of the code that handles adult content, because all of it was super old and busted.
- this will fix known bugs with adult content not being collapsed if it was shared in an all-ages post, and with shares of adult posts not being tagged as adult content by default.
- it’ll also make it possible to expand adult content posts inline instead of having to go to a separate page.
