there’s this constantly building sense of dread throughout, coming from a combination of the almost clinical dialogue, bizarre (used positively) performances, and completely unplaceable setting. it ostensibly takes place within the US but is obviously filmed in europe (finland, specifically) and is full of actors with british accents. everything feels off-kilter at all times. weird and good. shout out to the clone fucker.
