My father’s thinking of pivoting to the Angels, mainly since that’s where the players he liked as a kid used to play. So I’m either going with that or the Mariners. This is a heavy blow for my A’s-loving family
The Tigers are a bad team with mediocre prospects so you don't have to worry about success and instead enjoy the occasional bright spot like when Riley Greene remembers he has talent or when Tariq Skubal isn't injured. Also the Old English D is the best logo in baseball.

lets go mets baby, love da mets (we're bad and it's worse because we spend a lot of money to be bad, but I love them anyway) (we're gonna be better when we iron our pitching situation out, I believe). We have fun beefs (phillies, yanks, et al) and when we're playing well it's a blast.
i will also say the phils are fun as a person who lives in philadelphia, and are an actually good team.
sad day for the A's fans, but i'm sure all three of them will find another avenue for their passion

For real though, this sucks for baseball, actually. I can't wait for the A's to be 'good' for 2 seasons and then for them to immediately pivot back to the worst team they can field to squeeze profit out of visiting fans.
