i'm so fucking excited for the f1 opener next weekend. testing was always going to be weird in the first year of a big regulations change but seeing how much the order looks shaken up just makes me so excited.
red bull looks perfect, haas got fastest lap yesterday after years of not just mediocrity but Bad, ferrari looks real good, and mercedes is still having porpoising issues. my biggest concern (as a mclaren fan) is that they're showing some reliability issues that's making it hard to get a real sense of their speed but we'll see!
testing doesn't tell you what's gonna happen but it does present some Fun New Possibilities to rotate in your head until the first race dashes them all against the rocks.
