fucking around with procedural materials and geometry nodes in blender, made an epcot ball
i absolutely benefited from trying to render something that, in real life, already doesn't look like a physical object. something about how the panels catch light makes it look fake, especially on sunny days where you'd expect a large metal sphere to have any sort of glare but instead looks like it always does.
i wanted to take some ground level renders but it looks Weird since it's not like i have the rest of epcot modeled. maybe someday.
