successfully disassembled/cleaned/reassembled the lens assembly on the polaroid 110a that i got the other day. after closer inspection i realized that it had some fungus growing in there; not a ton, but enough that i wanted to deal with it.
that was by far one of the most stressful things i've ever done but i am 99% sure i didn't fuck anything up so that's good. i cleaned the viewfinder/rangefinder the other day and that was bullshit baby time comparatively. but this? this has GLASS. and LAYERS. and A SHUTTER ASSEMBLY IN BETWEEN THE GLASS LAYERS. but i did it! wow!
i was planning to try shooting the roll film tomorrow BUT it's raining all day so that's not fuckin happening. hopefully the weather will be right soon.
