ALSO i was at universal studios florida over the weekend and can now confirm that, having been on both multiple times, velocicoaster is the best roller coaster in florida and is better than iron gwazi, although it is not an easy decision.
i am a sucker for launches, i am a sucker for theming, i am a sucker for surprises. velocicoaster wins on all three.
also was able to get a lap in the front row (while many coasters are Most Intense in the back row, velocicoaster is a bizarre exception!) and the forces are absolutely bonkers. tons of sustained floater and ejector through the entire section after the second launch. the roll feels like intamin finally getting to do what they wanted to do initially with the heartline on maverick. it's a good roller coaster.
