something you may have noticed with the mobile redesign is that we're now using a slightly darker shade of cherry on mobile for better contrast. this meant that my header image, which was a cherry background, no longer looked right on mobile.
a fun thing about SVGs is that they support media queries, which means i can change the background color based on screen size, which means it all matches now! silly things that matter to me and me alone.
I noticed this, and figured you'd have a way to fix it, but I didn't know the deep magic of SVGs :D
SVGs being the world’s most unhinged media format is one of my most and least favorite things about the web
Not just you! Mine has the problem of being an animated gif. But unless I can stick a gif in an svg and use a filter layer on top it'll just look off on mobile.
Also thanks for increasing contrast on mobile, I didn't need it but I appreciate the effort for accessibility.
as someone who does not know how to make SVGs, but occasionally has to take logos and stuff off the internet for work, this is now explaining to me WHY THEY'RE EVERYWHERE
