I realize this is a strange place to drop this, but I'm settling on the place it'll attract the least visibility because I don't want to come across like I'm trying to shame staff. On the contrary! I'd like to keep my gripe hush-hush until the day it shows up in a changelog.

A couple weeks ago, I emailed support (rather than hitting the forums or bugtracker) about an easily-abused antifeature, because I didn't want to publicize it. I haven't heard back, and I still really don't want to publicize it. However, there's at least one person who presumably has no idea they're already abusing it, so I'd like some confirmation that staff is aware.

Email to support was dated November 19 3:25 Pacific.

I emailed one exploit to support and got a response nearly right away, the next day i emailed about another exploit and haven't gotten a response yet. I think the quick response was just a matter of lucky timing and the slow response is because I sent it in on Friday. It could be worth emailing again some point during the weekday when staff will be working

Full disclosure: we (meaning I, mostly) are behind on tickets, especially (and quite ironically) now that we're deep into the support hiring process. Thank you for reupping this- I'll get this processed and investigated ASAP.

That One User who (I hope) doesn’t know they’re exploiting it once again hit me with it yesterday. Still haven’t heard back from support, so I’m going to make it a little more clear:

I threw up a bitchpost yesterday about how a single user blocking me has segmented Cohost. It’s much, much worse than I let on in my bitchpost. Details are in the email.

Given That One User’s behavior, I’m getting increasingly uneasy about this. I waited a couple weeks for my account to be activated, and they wrecked things for me within 24 hours just by pressing a button.

On Saturday, it will have been a month since I reported the problem. Hundreds more users will surely have been blocked in the meantime. They’ve all been waiting even longer than I did for activation.
