Friendship valley is a glacial valley, formed when the Adversity Glacier carved out the space during the last ice age. At the base of the valley lies the Intimacy River, fed partially by the remains of the glacier in the form of Regular Hangouts Lake. The valley lies among the mountains of the Range of Emotions, whose highest point is the famous Fitof Peak. The Intimacy River winds its way down through the Plains of Companionship to eventually spill out into Fuckbuddy Bay.
