i am SO glad im not the only one who absolutely hates node's half-baked feeling ESM implementation.
i remember when a key dependency in one of my projects switched to ESM exclusively while everything else was still CJS only for the most part and that quite literally ended up in a downward spiral that ultimately killed the entire project
I don't know what ES is so I'm going to read it as EspressoScript
Could you write more about the problems you've been having with ES modules? I'm interested. Been smooth sailing for me...
