the whole reason #The Cohost Local Feed (Tallahassee) exists is because i've long been annoyed by people in Large Cities posting (mostly on twitter) as if everyone lives there and their content is relevant to every single person1. this has become less of a thing but was obnoxious as hell to me for years. i have long strove to do the same thing but with tallahassee and i finally have my own website where i can inflict that on everyone.
that said i encourage everyone to create a cohost local feed for their area. together we can create a Worse Yelp. it'll be fun i promise.

it is known that new yorkers are incapable of knowing there are Other Cities, but i actually noticed this problem most with san francisco and seattle residents. this probably says more about who i was following though, as i just don't know that many people in new york.
