i am going to make rebug happen if it's the last fucking thing i do.
I also don't like "chost," and my partner uses it constantly because they too like to see me suffer.
How has rebug not already become the phrase to use. It's right there! And it's fun to say!
it doesn't have internal consistency with other actions. chosters chost and rechost. posters post and rebug? doesn't make any sense.
Let's split the difference and call it "re-chugging"
Instead of "Just Chost" or whatever, people could instead egg each other on (pun not intended, but fully acknowledged) to encourage posting (chugging) by going "CHUG! CHUG! CHUG! CHUG!"
When I first came to the site and saw "chost" and "rechost" I was like, wow that's stupid and awful!
And then I came to love it because it's stupid and awful.
Oh goodness. Uh. We don't know if you saw this, but we accidentally rebugged this post... a bunch of times (in a private page). We thought shift-rebugging a rebugged post would undo, but instead it just rebugged again.
i think 'rechost' is particularly extra funny if you pronounce it like it's a Dutch word. reehcggcghcggchghosting
wouldn't "rechost" be "repost" as in "taking someone else's post and pretending it's your own", anyway
