I don't know how many times I've turned off autoplay, but it always seems to come back on. I don't notice my playlist or album ending, it just starts to play this really middle of the road indie music that isn't objectionable or different enough from my taste for me to immediately notice, but after 30 mins it hits me.

How bad can their algorithm be?

But what's so weird is that it seems to ebb and flow, sometimes its fine, sometimes it is great, but with all that data, how hard is it really?

I'm amazed at what it doesn't recommend to me, given the knowledge it has of my library. There's so many artists and albums it should be throwing at me that it doesn't.

So I think I'm going to go back to bandcamp exclusively for a few months before I go off music altogether again.
