I've been working on a Mirror's Edge style map for Half-Life 2 as part of a month-long level design jam!

I was originally going to use the Mirror's Edge editor itself; but having not touched unreal in close to a decade and wanting to just get to the business of making a map rather than wrangle an editor, I switched back to ol' reliable source.

Of course, without ME's flawless parkour, I'm having to find different ways to create non-violent, vertically-driven gameplay - and to that end, I'm coming up with some fun, creative recontextualization of HL2's mechanics and arsenal to create what I hope are interesting little puzzles.

It, plus all the other entries to the jam, will be available to download on itch in a few weeks.
