How does it do the actual render? Like setup a temp map or something?
It just spawns a transient actor that has a scenecapturecomponent and a mesh and some lights, and away it goes. Lighting channels on the lights/mesh so the lighting setup in the map you happen to have open at the time doesn't influence the result
There's only 3 channels unforch, on UE3 there were like 10. Deferred renderer I guess!
