Interesting areas with a charming air of disrepair
Live your life such that no one builds statues to your assassin, imo
This was a really fascinating part of the Museum of Yugoslavia, which had been built around Tito's tomb, literally and figuratively. The exhibits at the museum relied heavily on gifts given to Tito over the years, from workers, from cities, from world leaders. I got the sense that it maybe had once been a Tito museum, or perhaps even his private collection, and had subsequently rebranded as the Museum of Yugoslavia. This is history that I never got in the US, and definitely got a skewed representation of when it did make it over there.
