Unfortunately I'm not British enough to have invented what this consists of. Please help me define this traditional treat
I'm a game developer, professionally!
You may know me from things like: Where the Water Tastes Like Wine, The Museum of Mechanics: Lockpicking, Gone Home, Bioshock 2, or maybe something else.
Right now I work as a Technical Narrative Designer at Remedy Entertainment in Stockholm, Sweden
Perhaps there are other aspects of my personality that may also be revealed here on this website

I think this could be a recipe, just about. Penne Boscaiola is woodsman's pasta, so I'd imagine it that way. Start with a yorkshire pudding, go with a sauce/gravy of smoked meat (bacon, sausage, etc), woody herbs, mushrooms, some cream & tomato to round it out...

i was actually thinking of this exact pasta recipe when i thought "woodsman's = fungus"
A baked apple in a bun with some honey (if you’re lucky), like a portable working class Apple Charlotte.
Rice pudding with crushed nuts and dried fruit layered on top. Traditionally topped so thick you can't see the rice pudding, it looks like a forest floor. Serve hot.
take leftover sweet provisions (cake, cookies, etc) that have gone stale
crumble it all up
put in any available container
submerge in maple syrup
leave in the cold overnight
enjoy!
oats and berries and honey or maple syrup, whichever you have to hand
right so hunter's chicken is (chicken + cheese + bacon + bbq sauce) so I think woodsman's pudding is a cheaper variant. maybe (spam + butter + more spam + bbq sauce).
