21+/he/transfag, ADULT art πππ occasionally furry. i draw my oc a lot. i draw transmascs a lot.
I feel a little about that in regards to some of my kinks, which I was going to say is something not immediately erotic but its weird to not be. For example sweat, pubic hair, pleasured expressions, tanlines, are all things that heavily draw me into erotic art. And if its written, the smells, the intensity of grips, the moans, and such.
Even "plain" nudity can work to add to that. Someone being naked is one thing, but are they naked in a place they shouldn't? Do you get the impression they took their clothes off in a hurry? Are their clothes ripped?
So whenever I see some of those details, that tell a little story - what kind of person they are to shave in that way, to dress in that way, to reluctantly have sex in that circumstance - are the things that make a piece of work really stand out to me.
(And has someone who draws a LOT of hairy, sweaty pussies, and pleasured expression you definitely stand out to me in that regards too~)
Yeah! Like theres so much more to attraction than surface level nudity. Its the details that reveal how deeply someone enjoyed making what they made. And for me, even if those details arent things im interested in, i still like the image because i know someone out there is going to be really into it.
And thank u haha, youre always so nice! Im glad to hear that my art can appeal to people π
I think about this often with regards to dialog
There's an appeal to selectively and carefully revealing a character's interiority. Letting the reader infer and understand their mindset non explicitly. The approach of "you can't just have your characters say how they feel, that makes me angry"
But then some of the dialog that sticks with me the most is the vulgar and unrefined. They could be describing whats happening in the very same picture, they could be clumsily announcing what they just did and what they're about to do, they could even simply be shouting their mind in the moment. All wrapped up on foul, fetishistic language that borders on nonsense slang with no meaning to any outsider.
That first category? How clean and clever. A puzzle to write.
But the second? That's the good shit that can haunt for days. Passion forged sentence fragments that get lodged deep. Accelerating the heartrate when a thought bushes against them and the memory of raw eroticism blooms again.
