Keeping track of comic books I read

  • he/him

I'm just experimenting with a sort of journal where I keep track of the comic books I've been reading. I won't promise any insights - and we'll see how this goes. Comments and suggestions welcome, but keep it friendly.

Unexpected nice surprise! I flipped through this and it seemed interesting - nice art and some cool looking creatures. I though I'd give it a go and it was more fun and interesting than I expected and, also, it doesn't overstay its welcome.

It's an interesting take on what might now be a new sub-sub-genre: the "oh no, there was some weird anomaly/accident and there's cordoned off places you should not visit". Except, of course - people will and do visit! (in this case to take pictures of the weird stuff inside the cordoned-off area because there's a huge black market of rich collectors who want the stuff).

There's more to it than just that, but it's neat, it's not gory though there are some neat creepy monsters.

I thought it was particularly interesting that in this post-anomaly world, North Korea is still NK and that there's an agent of that regime who is part of the story. Won't spoil what or how, but it was an interesting non-caricature character.

Enjoyed, and would recommend!
