does anyone remember/know how to find a post that was like an essay on what we culturally think of or describe as “pretentious” tend to require context that’s missing but things that might actually be more accurately “pretentious” are things that are purposefully gatekept, meant to enforce hierarchy of high v low culture
or am i making this up that this post exists?
