hi Moira! what do you want to share about neuroqueerness and neuroqueer poetics and how it informs your relationship to yourself, your body, the Earth?

you know, i like this site and my followers here because i can be like "ask me about philosophy" and y'all actually ask me interesting and cool questions that are fun to think about.

anyways, yeah! ive been thinking about this a lot lately. well ive been thinking about it Forever but have been thining about it More, recently. i've always been highly interested in collage art and art that plays with or deconstructs language and meaning, cause it's always kind of mirrored How My Brain Do. neuroqueer poetics gives me a good way of framing that in analytic and communicative terms and lets me more specifically think about and develop this stuff. so i've been thinking a lot about echolalia and repetition and nonsense and nonlinearity and how i can better employ these concepts in my art.

as far as my body. boy. i have a complicated relationship with my body lol. im pretty out of tune with it most of the time but with neuroqueerness, there is very much a joy in the physicality of my body that i am sitll working on learning. things like stimming and the inherent physicality of transness combine to give me tools to explore my physicality.

my neuroqueerness is deeply tied into my relation to nature. i was a forest kid for sure, would spend a ton of time in the woods, imagining fairies and whatnot and i've held onto that, or perhaps restored it would be more accurate. at the same time as i am out of step with most allistic and cis people, i feel very connected to and related to nature as a mystic and numinous experience.
