This is the original "an angel desires the opposite of an edge" piece. When I started on this (dang, four months ago I guess) the phase kept rattling around my head, leading to it being pulled into other, more immediate things like this poster. Also, it's fun to pull together threads between these digital objects.
A while back I posted a detail of this as a wip with an inverted filter. I actually liked the new colors so much that I just kept the filter on and worked on the piece in backwards colors moving forward. Got a lot of use from "pick color from layer" and actually looking at the color wheel.
Anyways, in other words, that which is divine in us seeks connection.
