#vinny speeks #The glaze was created in China but really became popular in Korea during the Goryeo dynasty #And they really refined the vibrancy of the color and experimented with copper paints over top and beautiful black and white clay inlays to make patterns #this image is of a maebyong - type of vase - with the black and white inlays #It’s so cool!!!!! And the amount of details on some of these pieces is incredible!#My favorite piece I researched in my art history class was this beautiful teapot painted with copper to look like bamboo shoots and it was decorated with little sculpted fruits and vines #Anyway this is what happens when I read unmasking autism I start thinking about my interests skgndnd
