Obviously this is missing the point of AI being stupid and bad and wasteful, but why do you even need AI for this kind of program? Windows already has a recently opened files section, and I can't imagine it being that hard to create a draggable timeline with the files on there.
my guess is that they use OCR/computer vision to read text and interpret images in recall screenshots, and let you search those
im gonna have to learn so much linux this upcoming year and i am dreading it. the learning curve is basically a mountain so i hope you got hooves.
mild anxious kvetching aside i really hope the (forceful move from actually seriously dying, soon to be unsupported windows 10) to a linux distro... i have next to no clue how to use a command line nor am i practiced at navigating libraries and high concept programming. 2025 looks to be hell
A lot of modern, beginner orientated distros, like Linux Mint for instance, come with graphical apps for basically any settings you need, so the command line isn’t required for day to day use. Neither is knowledge of programming, or navigating libraries, unless you’re compiling all your programs from source, which also isn’t required with stuff like Mint.
