Did you know you can upload a lot of images in one post? And that you can format them in all sorts of different ways? It's true. Here's how you do it.

First, add 1-4 images to your post the normal way (drag and drop them)

Then hit the dropdown arrow and save your post as a draft.

Saving your post as a draft will upload all of your images. Now you can copy the URLs of those images and put them into posts.

Click "Preview", then copy the URL of your uploaded image.

Now go back to compose. You can now click the trash can on each image to delete them from your post, but the URL you copied will still work perfectly. Remember to copy the URL before you delete the image!

Paste that URL in the text area of the post.

Add "<img src=" to the beginning of the URL, then add "> at the end of the URL, and it will display your image normally. Press "Preview" to see what it looks like.

You can add lots and lots of images this way. I even posted a 31 page comic in a single post this way. If you want, you can even get fancy with the HTML and have multiple images per row. There's lots of ways to post as many images as you'd like in a single Cohost post.

This method is also really good if you have 2 or 3 images, but you'd like them stacked vertically instead of stacked horizontally the way Cohost does automatically.

Don't worry about your post getting too long; Cohost automatically adds a "read more" shortener if your post gets long enough.

Happy posting!

it's a clever idea, but i wonder if images that are essentially from a "discarded" draft are gonna stick around forever..? i dont actually know how cohost's servers or whatever handles stuff like that, but i'd hesitate to assume those images wont get flushed eventually..
