"A tall, slender beast unlike anything you've seen in your life appeared before your home one day. It spoke to you and your people in a raspy voice that felt like knives piercing through your skull, though nobody could understand it. But it's intentions quickly became clear- and it began it's assault. It tore through walls with brute force, crushing bones with its bare hands and violently eating any who were unfortunate enough to get caught in its grasp. The scars littering its frail-looking body glowed as it attacked, crafting a display of horrid, bloody light that dimly surrounded the creature.
You managed to escape the ruined town that you called your home just yesterday, but before you could react it appeared in front of you, staring into your eyes with crazed, bloodshot eyes that looked disturbingly human. It grabbed your arm and unhinged its jaw, the scars on its body glowing more intensely- but it stopped. It dropped your body, closing its mouth and looking into the distance. With a horrifying grin, the creature ran off with blistering speed. You don't know why it spared you, but you do know this-
