Well, isn't that a handy little feature cohost has!

Anna Blackwell's Delve is up, or forgiving the lazy joke, down. In it, you take on the role of a dwarf under orders to find the ominously named Void Crystal. It's a map-drawing game that uses a standard deck of playing cards to define your fraught journey to the dankest depths.

My immediate impression is positive. The booklet is written approachably and emphasizes disposing of the parts of the game that don't work for you. It also has a really charming style of illustrations, almost like a classic story book.

The cost for the digital download is minimum 7$ USD. It comes with the booklet and some extra organizational tools to keep track of your dwarves.

Check it out here!

I've predrawn myself a sloppy 1''x1'' grid on some paper, rounded up a deck of cards, and polished up the old set of dice. The Wanderer has signed off on the adventure too, so it's all above board.

A picture of a calico cat looking up at the camera. Her paws are next to a deck of cards, a black drawstring pouch, and a set of dice, all on grid paper.
