Room - Empty Cavern, Kitchen
Stalactites and Stalagmites grow like fangs in the second empty cavern. Doddot considers that this whole spelunking thing isn't so bad after all, but that she is getting hungry.
She approves the second room of the Dimmorc hold - a well stocked mess with ensuite kitchen. With the power of peer pressure, Doddot convinces an old friend - Hamgard - to be the head chef despite a baffling lack of experience. Thick, oily plumes of smoke consistently pour from the kitchen, inevitably followed by the aroma of rich stew and fresh-baked bread. It's a wild sensory experience, but it takes the edge off the cave funk.
Strangely, some smoke from the kitchen sinks heavily to the ground instead of wafting up to caress the ceiling. Stranger still, this floor smoke seeps into cracks on the cave floor and disappears.
Doddot marks the spot with chalk, but foot traffic quickly smears it to meaningless somethingness.

- Doddot Dimorc - The ostensible protagonist mining the caves beneath her family hold. A bit dim herself.
- Hamgard - The chef! He's never been a chef before, but he's figuring it out quickly.
Takeaways
- Show me a mage that doesn't like a good stew and I'll show you a liar.
- I suppose I'll be drawing dwarves like little molars until it's time to actually ink them in.
