Okay, I missed that these are stress reactions. (Partially because I'm mostly freeze, with some... what does "collapse into a horrible self-loathing ball of blame for everything that's ever gone wrong, ever" fall under. Partially because I just now own a bed again after months.)
It's... very real once I realized that.
